Junior Infants set off early on Wednesday morning to the Library. We were going as part of Wainfest Children’s Art & Book Festival. We met an author named Izzy McGuckin and she read us her book called “April’s Garden”. The children listened so well. She had crafts for the children to complete afterwards – book mark designs and drawing. These activities were a huge hit. The children were lucky to get a book from the Library to take home and keep. It was a lovely morning!
